Many boiler enterprises do not know how to choose the gate valve for desulfurization flue gas. Now there are electric, louver and electro-hydraulic valves on the market. Let's talk about their respective performance from three aspects: configuration, sealing and use:

1. The electric gate valve is mainly composed of electric actuator, screw rod, gate plate and frame (sealing fan is required if the sealing is not tight). It adopts channel steel type soft seal, and its air tightness can only reach 95%. There is smoke leakage. When in use, the valve is in the open state, and the plug plate is not in contact with the flue gas outside the flue to avoid corrosion. When the valve is closed, because of the flat composite plate of the plug plate, it is easy to be affected by temperature and flue gas pressure and deformed, affecting the flexibility and airtightness of the switch.

2. The shutter gate valve is mainly composed of electric actuator and connecting rod. The fan blade, frame and sealing fan adopt metal sealing, which can only reach 92% in terms of air tightness, and there is smoke leakage. When in use, the valve is open, the fan blade is always in contact with the flue gas, which is easy to corrode and increases the flow resistance of flue gas. When the valve is closed, the heat expansion and cold contraction of the fan blade are not tightly sealed, leading to flue gas leakage

3. The electrohydraulic gate valve is mainly composed of hydraulic station, oil cylinder, gate, frame and control cabinet. It adopts special 316L rail seal and soft seal, with air tightness greater than 99% and basically no leakage. When in use, the plug plate is located outside the flue and does not contact with the flue gas to avoid corrosion. When the valve is closed, the plug plate is designed as a diamond shaped composite plate. When encountering high temperature or flue pressure, it is not easy to deform. Because it uses a combination of soft and hard seals, it can ensure gas sealing.
