1. Influence on flue gas treatment due to untight closing of flue valve

If the flue valves cannot be fully sealed, there will be untreated flue gas leaking into the chimney for direct discharge, and the chimney itself has suction, so the air volume of the leaking can not be controlled. Even if the purification system has a high governance efficiency, after mixing with untreated flue gas, the chimney emission will still be substandard.

2. Influence of flue valve transformation on coke oven production

In order to make the flue gas discharged from the chimney reach the standard, it is theoretically necessary to reform the original flue regulating flap or re install the airtight flue valve, but the transformation of the flue regulating flap will leave hidden dangers for coke oven production. The coke oven chimney has self suction, and the original flue regulating flap and flue pressure are generally set with interlocking feedback to ensure the stability of coke oven flue pressure. If the flue regulating flap is modified or the flue can be sealed by installing a valve that can seal the flue, the negative pressure of the flue needs to be provided by the external fan. In case of sudden power failure, the external fan will stop running. At this time, if the flue flap cannot be opened in time, the furnace pressure will be abnormal, the riser cover will be jacked open, resulting in a pollution accident, or even the gas will not burn, and will explode after gathering.

3. Function of flue regulating flap in flue gas treatment project

As the main flue regulating valve of coke oven, the flue regulating flap is mainly used to adjust the suction in the flue, reasonably control the flue gas flow according to the working conditions, and ensure the safe production of coke oven. The sealing property is not strictly required.

In general, flue gas treatment requires that the underground flue in front of the flue regulating flap is connected to the pipeline, and the flue gas is led out and treated before being sent back to the chimney. At this time, the flue regulating flap needs to be closed to ensure that all flue gas enters the purification system. However, the actual situation is that the design of the existing coke oven flue regulating flap considers that the chimney must be in the hot standby state. There is generally a gap of 50mm between the flue and the rotating body of the flap, so that when the flue regulating flap is fully closed, some hot flue gas still enters the chimney. As a result, the flue gas can not all enter the purification system for treatment, and there is a cross leakage phenomenon.
